Red Hot on Tour- Harrison Shafts Score 10 Top-10s in 2004 Red hot on tour, PGA Tour and Champions Tour players used Harrison Shafts to record 10 top-10 finishes in 2004 through the PGA Tour's Nissan Classic and the Champion Tour's Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am. Harrison shafts scored breakthroughs in 2003, being used to win 13 tournaments and record 100 top-10 finishes. Included in the total were the U.S. Open Championship and the Charles Schwab Cup Tournament.

Almost every PGA Tour stop in 2004 has seen a player using Harrison shafts score a top-10 finish, with the highest being the second place at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. New to the lineup of Harrison Shafts is the Striper Tour, which joins the Harrison Striper J as the hot new Harrison shafts. The Striper Tour comes in 62-, 72- or 82-gram models, all with 3-degrees torque and a mid flex point.

Leading the way in 2004 is Jim Thorpe, who scored 3 top-10 finishes in the MasterCard Championship, Royal Caribbean Golf Classic and Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, respectively. He ranks second in top-10 finishes on the Tour, eighth in scoring average at 69.67, and ninth in earnings with $159,531. He used his Harrison Pro 2.5 FL 60 driver shaft and Harrison Pro 2.5 Tour 80 fairway wood shafts to lead the Champions Tour in eagles. Thorpe is first in the Ford Senior Players' Championship point standings.

In addition to Thorpe's top-10 finishes on the Champions Tour, Harrison shafts were used to finish tied for 5th and 9th at the Royal Caribbean Golf Classic and 6th and 7th at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am. Total earnings by Champions Tour players using Harrison shafts are $301,033.
